Turkey Empanadas with BBQ Sauce, Cranberries and Peach

These flavors combine perfectly and your palate will enjoy them very much. Prepare these turkey empanadas with BBQ sauce, cranberries and peaches with the leftovers of the turkey.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 cup onion, slice
  • 80 milliliters Water
  • 2 cups precooked turkey, shredded
  • 2/3 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1 Empanada dough
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cups cranberry sauce

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Put a little oil in a large skillet and sauté the onions over medium heat for 5 min. Stirs from time to time. Add water; Put the lid on, keep boiling gently until the onions caramelize and the water evaporates. Let them cool a little.
Mix the turkey, barbecue sauce and onions.
Roll the dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin and cut with cookie cutters. Put approx. 3 tablespoons of the turkey mixture in the center of each pie. Varnish the border with the egg.

Cook the rest of the barbecue sauce and cranberry sauce in a saucepan until hot.
