Cooking for any special occasion, this recipe of white lasagna with a soft and warm béchamel sauce with cheese and an incredible creamy chicken filling with vegetables and mushrooms flavored with thyme, white wine, gratinated with gouda cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup of Butter for bechamel
  • 1/2 Cup of flour for bechamel
  • 5 cups of whole milk for bechamel
  • 1 teaspoonful of nutmeg for bechamel
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 pinch of White pepper
  • 1 Cup of Gouda cheese grated, for bechamel
  • 1/4 of Cup of Parmesan for bechamel
  • 1/2 Cup of bacon finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of Garlic finely chopped, for filling
  • 1/4 of Cup of White onion finely chopped, for filling
  • 2 cups of chicken breast cut into small cubes, for filling
  • 1/4 of Cup of carrot finely chopped
  • 1/4 of Cup of celery finely chopped, for filling
  • 2 cups of mushroom filleted, for filling
  • 1 Cup of White wine for filling
  • 1 branch of fresh thyme for filling
  • 1 Cup of sour cream for filling
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg for filling
  • 1 pinch of Salt for filling
  • 3 liters of Water
  • 2 spoonfuls of Salt
  • 15 pieces of pasta for lasagna (sheets)
  • 3 cups of spinach chopped, for filling
  • 2 cups of Gouda cheese grated

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    For the bechamel sauce: Heat a pot over medium heat with the butter, add the flour and cook until it browns, add the milk and beat until it thickens, season with nutmeg, salt, white pepper, add the cheeses and cook until they melt. Reservation.
    For the filling: Heat a pan over high heat, cook the bacon until the fat is loose, fry the garlic with the onion, chicken, carrot, celery, mushrooms and white wine, let reduce. Add thyme, cream, season to your liking with nutmeg and salt. Cook 15 minutes and reserve.
    For pasta: Heat a pot with the water until it reaches a boiling point, add the salt and cook the lasagna sheets until they are soft. Strain and reserve.
    In a glass bowl place sheets of base lasagna, add the filling and a layer of béchamel sauce, the gouda cheese, a layer of fresh spinach, repeat the same process until the mold is completed, for the last layer place the sheets of lasagna , cover with cheese. Gratin in the oven for 15 minutes.
    Cut a portion of lasagna and serve with fresh salad. Enjoy

    Esta lasaña quedó muy buena y gusto mucho, el único comentario fue que estaba un poco pesada por la cantidad de grasa (1/2 taza de mantequilla más la crema y el tocino ) pero a la mayoria le gusto mucho. Saludos.
