Soak 120 grams of Raisins and 100 grams of dried grapes in cider, enough to cover them (you can optionally use other liquors like Grand Marnier or Cinzano for a slightly different flavor) or just a touch of these liquors and cider. Waiting until they are hydrated can take all night. Once hydrated, place them in a container with 250 ml of water and 250 grams of sugar; you can substitute part of the water with an equivalent amount of orange or grapefruit juice. Heat and add a stick of cinnamon or nutmeg or allspice or cardamom or cloves, depending on your taste or to vary so it’s not said that your preparation always tastes the same.
