The draniki is the typical dish of Belarus, it is a preparation based on potatoes. Typically they are covered with fresh cream and accompanied with hard quail eggs. You can accompany them with mushroom sauce, although with the fresh cream they are also delicious.

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces of potato peeled and washed
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 glass of half-fat milk
  • to taste of oil
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • to taste of cream To accompany
  • to taste of sauce of mushrooms, to accompany

    Preparation

    Grate the potatoes, and dry them with paper towels or a clean towel.
    Place them in a bowl, add the flour and slowly integrate trying not to form lumps.
    Add the egg, milk and mix well. Add salt and pepper.
    Heat the oil in a pan and add two to three tablespoons of the mixture, making small pancakes. Cook on both sides and check that it is cooked.
    Serve immediately, topped with fresh cream or mushroom sauce.

    TIPS

    You can add chopped dill to the fresh cream, to give it a different touch.
