Traditional recipe of fried rice with chopped vegetables and meats, it is very nutritious and delicious.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 250 grams chicken breast, or ham
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 branches celery, in slices
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 3 spring onions
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 cups rice, cooked and cold
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons broth

Preparation

Slice the chicken or ham very thin and mix with cornstarch, wine, sugar and soy sauce.
Beat the eggs with 2 tablespoons of milk and cook them in a hot pan with a little oil so that it remains like a thin crepe. Cut it into thin strips. Reserve.
Fry onion in 3 tablespoons of oil for 10 minutes, add the chicken or ham and fry 2 minutes. Remove from heat and reserve hot.
In the same pan add oil and fry the other vegetables and when ready to take out of the fire.
Heat a large pan to put 2 tablespoons of oil, add the rice and move a minute. Add soy sauce or salt and broth. Move 2 more minutes.
Put the onion and chicken or ham, egg and vegetables and mix carefully. Serve hot.

PRESENTATION

It can be served in Chinese deep plates and eaten with chopsticks.

TIPS

This dish is cooked very well in a wok. Different types of non-fat meat can be used instead of chicken, such as beef or pork. Shrimps can be placed for a special occasion.
