Potatoes and Sautéed Leeks

This recipe that I share is very rich and I invite you to try them. They are perfect to accompany a rich meat, chicken or fish. They also go amazing with sausages. Also, they are very easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 2 pieces of leek only the white part, washed and sliced
  • 4 pieces of potato cooked with shell
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of celery in seeds
  • to taste of fresh parsley finely chopped
  • to taste of salt and pepper

    Preparation

    Heat the butter, add the leeks and cover the pan. Stir 8 to 10 minutes over low heat.
    Peel the potatoes and cut them into thick slices; add them to the pan. Season and sprinkle the celery seeds; stir well and cook, uncovered. 7 to 8 minutes over medium heat.
    Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top and serve immediately.

    PRESENTATION

    Garnish with a sprig of parsley.

    TIPS

    If you want to have some meat you can add some sausages so you have some protein.
