Prepare these delicious zucchini stuffed with ham and panela cheese. It´s a different option to cook and the best part is that you probably may have all the ingredients at home.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3 pieces of zucchini cut into thick sheets
  • enough of Water
  • enough of Salt
  • 10 slices of Ham
  • 10 slices of Panela cheese thick
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 3 pieces of egg white
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 3 pieces of egg yolk
  • 1 Cup of oil to fry

    Preparation

    Heat a pot with water and add salt to taste. Cook the sliced zucchinis for a minute.
    Between 2 cooked zucchinis, put a slice of ham and another of panela cheese. Insert a toothpick through to keep the ingredients still.
    Using a mixer beat the egg whites, then add a pinch of salt and keep beating until stiff peaks form. Add the eggs yolks one by one.
    Roll the zucchinis over flour and then pass them through the egg mix. Fry the zucchinis in a pot with heated vegetable oil.
    Serve warm with some salsa.

    PRESENTATION

    On an extended plate, served with rice.

    TIPS

    Do not overcook zucchini, otherwise they will break.
