In a saucepan over medium heat, add two tablespoons of butter, the onion, the garlic, the portobello mushrooms, and add the chicken broth and let it cool. In a blender, pour the previous mixture, add the cream, the almonds, and season with salt and pepper; blend until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
