Ingredients

8 servings
  • 5 cups of chicken soup
  • 2 cups of chicken roasted rotisserie
  • 3/4 of Cup of barley pre-cooked
  • 2 cups of spinach chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 3 cups of frozen vegetable (green beans, corn, carrots, etc.)

    Preparation

    In a large pot combine chicken broth, chicken, salt, pepper and vegetables. Cover and cook over medium heat until it boils.
    Lower the heat, add the barley cover the pot and cook for 10 more minutes.
    Remove from heat and add spinach, mix and let stand 5 minutes before serving.

    PRESENTATION

    Sira in soup dishes accompanied by bread (campiño or baguette) and lemon slices.

    TIPS

    If you do not have barley you can make the soup with brown rice.
