To make poached eggs you need: • 1 egg • White vinegar • Salt
Place the egg in a small glass container, this will help you to be able to place it easily in the water where you are going to cook it.
Place a deep pan with 10 cm of water over medium heat, add the white vinegar and salt. When bubbles start to appear in the water reduce to low heat and keep the temperature warm without boiling.
With a spoon you have a whirlpool in the hot water circling. Place the egg in the water slowly and closest to the water and allow it to cook for 4 minutes. The swirl will help the white wrap over the yolk.
Remove the egg with a griddle spoon and cut the excess egg (the tail) with the spoon the pan.
Place the egg on a plate with a paper towel to dry it well before use.
The poached egg should have the well-cooked clear and the semi-cooked yolk, this you can try if the yolk comes out semi-liquid when cut.
