Mexican cuisine finds a new limit in this restaurant where classic flavors meet modern techniques and an eye-catching presentation.

Live is a place that has many faces. If you visit on a Thursday night, you can witness a happening where various personalities relax to the rhythm of house music with a cocktail in hand. On a Sunday, the seafood brunch paired with various mezcals attracts the more adventurous, and on any other day of the week, you can simply sit in the restaurant and let the chef pamper you. Its cuisine is full of colors and Mexican flavors, but when the dishes arrive at the table, they have little in common with the classics you know. The aesthetics and preparation change everything.
This is the result of the chef's aesthetic innovation, who while enjoying maintaining the Mexican notes on the palate, plays with the presentations to surprise and entice the diner. When it comes to pairing, the expert is sommelier Sandra Gutiérrez, who after having worked at the best wineries in Baja California has all the credentials to pair your dishes with one of the exclusive wines from her cellar.
When you enter this restaurant, you are very well taken care of. Executive chef Josué Rodríguez Maya not only invests his passion in each designed dish but also has a background that has taken him across several continents and under the tutelage of renowned masters. Throughout his career, he has worked in Spain with the father of modern cuisine, Juan Mari Arzak, and also with chef Richard Sandoval, with whom he opened the most successful restaurant in Dubai to date: Toro Toro. At Live, he has planned a menu of Mexican flavors but with completely contemporary textures and aesthetics.
Now, if you go repeatedly, you might find a change in the menu each time, as this restaurant changes with the seasons to keep its dishes fresh. But there are some unmovable classics like the slowly roasted rib tostadas and the salmon fillets. Don’t miss out on trying their spicy aguachiles and their seafood offerings that arrive fresh and vibrant daily.
