In one of the most important wine regions of the country, Born to be Wine, the famous festival for wine lovers, held its seventh edition and featured a great list of activities such as wine tastings, special workshops, delicious food, live music, and the Champions League final.

Born to be Wine is a festival created to celebrate the birth of the grapes that will become wine, held at the Viñedo Cuna de Tierra, located in Dolores Hidalgo, near San Miguel de Allende.

The culture of wine

Although this celebration is not part of the grape harvest that begins in August, Joe García Luna, the Creative Director of the event, explained that it is “a party that aims to bring young people over 21 closer to the world of wine, as well as to highlight the quality of Mexican vineyards like Cuna de Tierra.”

And that is how they achieved success in this great party that started with the broadcast of the Champions League final, the prelude to the celebration that kept viewers on the edge of their seats. Subsequently, some tastings featuring the best products from Cuna de Tierra were announced, along with mixology workshops with guest producers and the mandatory tour of the incredible vineyard facilities, which, it is worth noting, were designed by the important firm Ignacio Urquiza Arquitectos.

To close the white evening, since the dress code has been established since the first edition as white chic picnic, DJ sets continued, led by prominent personalities from the music industry, finishing off this grand festival of gastronomy, enology, and electronic music with a bang.

When is the next edition of Born to be Wine?

It is expected that next year the festival will take place on August 25 at the same Cuna de Tierra facilities. Will you attend that next edition?
