  • 2 3/4 cups flour, for the dough
  • 1/4 cups sugar, for the dough
  • 1 teaspoon salt, for the dough
  • 1 egg, for the dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted, for the dough
  • 1 cup raw sugar, for the filling
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature, for filling
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon, for the filling
  • 1/2 cups walnut, for the filling
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, for the glaze
  • 2 tablespoons milk, for the glaze
  • 1 egg, to glaze

For the dough, mix the yeast with the milk and rest for 10 minutes to hydrate.
In a blender bowl, add the flour, sugar, egg, salt, milk with yeast and whisk until it has a homogeneous consistency.
Add butter and continue kneading to integrate. Place in a previously greased bowl and ferment for one hour or until it doubles its volume.
Preheat the oven to 360 °F (180 °C)
For the filling, mix the mashed sugar with butter and cinnamon.
On a floured surface, spread the dough with the help of a rolling pin, add the stuffing, the nuts and roll, with the help of a knife cut the .8 in (2cm) thick rolls.
Place the roles on a refractory, folding the tip of the roll down to preserve the shape. Ferment for 20 more minutes.
Varnish with egg and bake the roles for 20 minutes. Chill.
For the glaze, mix the icing sugar with the milk, pour over the cinnamon rolls, decorate with nuts.
Serve with a glass of milk.

On the refractory, accompanied by a glass of fresh milk.

Place the dough in the warmest place in your house to accelerate the fermentation. It is important that, when placing the roll, you bend the tips down so they do not open and lose their shape. If you use fresh yeast you should use .9 oz (27 grams). You can also cut the rolls with the help of a thread, to avoid crushing them too much.
