Tricolor Fritters

Enjoy this recipe where we tell you how to make wind fritters. We made them with a mold and with original colors that you can use for National Holidays or Christmas.

The origin of the fritters is uncertain; they were previously called "puñuelos," as the shape was made with fists. What is known is that this dessert arrived in Mexico due to the Conquest and transformed with the use of Mexican ingredients.

Presentation

Serve the fritters sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon on tissue paper and accompany with coffee from the pot.

Tips

Heat the mold very well in the oil before dipping it into the mixture; this will ensure that your preparation does not slip and remains in the mold for frying; to release the fritter from the mold, shake gently. Repeat this step with each fritter.
