Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease a rectangular pan measuring 21 cm long by 12 cm wide by 7 cm high and line it with parchment paper. Heat the milk with sugar and add butter; once it dissolves, remove from heat, add dates, and let it cool slightly. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the milk mixture, egg, and nuts. Stir until well combined.
