These Almond Energy Bites are perfect when you don't know what to eat as a pre-work out snack. This delicious snack is an easy and quick recipe to make, that will give you an energy boost. It will take you 15 minutes and the best thing is that they are raw and need no cooking.The properties of these Almond Energy Bites are very good for performance during training, since they have vegetable protein and lipids that give you more energy and are easy to digest. Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1/2 Cup of almond
  • 1/2 Cup of grated coconut
  • 1/2 Cup of oats
  • 2/3 of Cup of peanut butter
  • 2 spoonfuls of chia
  • 1/3 of Cup of bee honey
  • 1/4 of Cup of cocoa
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
  • 1/4 of Cup of almond in thick pieces

    Preparation

    In a low heat over low heat, toast the almonds and coconut until they release their aroma and have a golden color. Remove and cool.
    In a food processor, process the almonds, coconut and oats until you get a fine powder.
    In a bowl, mix what you processed with peanut butter, chia, honey, cocoa, vanilla and almonds.
    Form balls with your hands. Store in a container until consumed.

    PRESENTATION

    Save the bites in a glass or plastic lidded container and take it anywhere.

    TIPS

    The nuts become more aromatic when roasted, you can do it in a pan over low heat moving them constantly, or in the oven at 250°F (120 °C) moving them halfway through cooking.
