Can you imagine an apple twist with cinnamon stuffed with cream cheese? This spectacular and original apple twist is perfect to share this Christmas, as it has a sweet cheese filling and a subtle cinnamon flavor, with apple and walnut pieces.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 2 packages of cream cheese (380 grams) for the filling
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar for the filling
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla for the filling
  • 1 1/2 cups of Butter
  • 1 Cup of raw sugar
  • 4 pieces of egg
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1/2 Cup of milk
  • 1 Cup of apple cut into cubes
  • 1 Cup of powder sugar for the glaze
  • 4 spoonfuls of milk for the glaze
  • 1/2 Cup of nut finely chopped

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    For the filling, cream cream cheese with sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl. Place in a pastry bag and refrigerate.
    For pancake, beat the butter with sugar until it is creamy, add eggs one by one, vanilla essence, add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, milk and apple little by little.
    Pour half of the previous preparation, into a previously floured and greased mold, with the help of a spoon form a groove around the pancake add the cheese mixture and pour the rest of the apple mixture completely covering the cheese. Bake for 45 min.
    For the glaze, mix the sugar with the milk until a thick glaze is obtained.
    Copper the pancake with the glaze and decorate with nuts.

    PRESENTATION

    On a wooden base decorated with glazed and finely chopped walnuts.

    TIPS

    If you want to add more flavor to your pancake you can add a mixture of spices such as nutmeg, clove and cardamom.
