Prepare these rich and original tricolor churros, green, white and red sprinkled with sugar and with a very delicious cheese filling with Yoghurt Greek Yoplait Without Sugar Added. Best of all, they are baked and do not have excess calories. Try them!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 of Cup of cream cheese for the filling
  • 1 Cup of Yoghurt Greek Yoplait Without Sugar Added for the filling
  • 4 cups of Water
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 piece of cinnamon slit
  • 1 teaspoonful of nutmeg
  • 2 spoonfuls of vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups of wheat flours
  • enough of Vegetable coloring green and red
  • enough of sugar to sprinkle

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    For the filling, in a bowl beat the cream cheese with Yoghurt Greek Yoplait Without Added Sugar, until getting a homogeneous mixture. Fill a pastry bag with smooth duya and reserve in refrigeration.
    Heat a pot over medium heat with the water until it reaches a boiling point, add the salt, sugar, cinnamon in slit, nutmeg and vanilla extract. Let infuse a few minutes. Remove the cinnamon, add the flour and mix well to form a thick dough, remove from the heat and cool.
    Separate the mixture into 3 equal parts and paint one with the red coloring and the other with the green. Mix very well until it integrates and pour the dough into three pastry sleeves with curly duya.
    Form the churros on a tray with waxed paper, bake about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar still hot.
    With the help of a wooden stick, pierce the churros. Fill with yoghurt mixture and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the churros on a small board with paper.

    TIPS

    Instead of using refined sugar, you can use mascabada or morena.
