Bicolor Heart Shaped Cookies

These Bicolor cookies are romantic vanilla flavored cookies on one side and chocolate on the other.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 stick chocolate, of baking for coverage

Preparation

Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl using the blender until you get a light and fluffy mixture
Incorporate egg and vanilla
Add the combination of flour, baking powder and salt
Beat everything well and refrigerate for one hour
Stretch the dough on a floured surface until it is 1/8 inch thick
Cut it into a heart shape with a 2-inch cookie cutter and re-stretch the leftovers
Place 2 inches away on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper
Refrigerate for 30 minutes
Heat the oven to 350 ° F. Bake the cookies 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned
Let them stand for 5 minutes in the tray and place them on a rack to cool completely
Melt the chocolate and dip 1 side of each cookie. Place again on the rack and let them rest until the chocolate hardens

PRESENTATION

Serve 2 in two to accompany coffee or hot chocolate.

TIPS

If you want to make your cookies more fun, you can sprinkle them with colored granules right after you dip them in the chocolate.
