Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl using the blender until you get a light and fluffy mixture
Incorporate egg and vanilla
Add the combination of flour, baking powder and salt
Beat everything well and refrigerate for one hour
Stretch the dough on a floured surface until it is 1/8 inch thick
Cut it into a heart shape with a 2-inch cookie cutter and re-stretch the leftovers
Place 2 inches away on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper
Refrigerate for 30 minutes
