Ingredients

12 portions
  • 1 cup Yoghurt Greek Style FAGE® Total 0%
  • 1/2 cups carrot, grated
  • 3/4 cups orange juice
  • 1/3 cups brown sugar
  • 1/3 cups golden raisin
  • 1/3 cups sunflower seed
  • 1/4 cups sunflower oil
  • 3 eggs, mixed
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cups wheat germ
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325ºF.
Mix the carrots, the Greek Style Yoghurt FAGE® Total 0%, the orange juice, the sugar, the golden raisins, the sunflower seeds, the oil, the eggs and the vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, the wheat germ, the baking soda, the cinnamon and the nutmeg.
Fold the dry ingredients little by little into the carrot mixture until they are completely mixed.
Pour the mixture into a previously greased rectangular mold and bake for 1 hour.
Remove from the oven, remove from the mold and let cool.
Allow to cool for 2 hours, cut into squares and serve.
