These butter-based Christmas cookies are delicious and super nice. They are decorated before baking with the same painted dough and give it a unique and original touch. In addition, they are easy to prepare.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 180 grams butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond essence
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • enough vegetal color additive, green, red and yellow

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Beat the butter with the sugar for 4 minutes. Add the eggs one by one along with the vanilla and the essence of almonds, continuing to beat.
Add the flour and salt and beat until incorporated. Divide the dough into 3 parts.
Paint the dough with green, red and yellow dye.
Extend the green dough and make decorations with the rest of the doughs like balls or sticks. Place the decorations on the green dough and cover with waxed paper or non-stick plastic. Press with a roller so that they are integrated into the green mass.
Cut small trees or use Christmas cutters. Place the cookies on a tray and refrigerate 15 minutes.
Bake about 10 to 15 minutes, cool and serve.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with milk.
