Ingredients

8 portions
  • 16 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 2 limes, just the zest
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • edible food coloring, pink
  • edible food coloring, blue
  • edible food coloring, Violet
  • edible food coloring, orange melon
  • 1 cup White chocolate
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • edible food coloring, pink
  • 4 cotton candy, of colors

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
In a blender add the eggs, with the sugar, whisk until doubled in size, add the lemon zest and the vanilla essence.
With the help of a sieve, add the flour little by little and incorporate it in an enveloping way. Pour into two cake molds previously greased and floured and bake for 25 min, let cool and reserve.
For the bitumen, beat the cream and add the icing sugar and divide it into four. Add a droplet of blue and pink dye, violet and melon respectively. Refrigerate and reserve.
Cut the cakes in half, and fill with the bitumen interspersed colors.
Cover the cake with the rest of the bitumen, intercalating the colors and pass a scrape around to match and blur the colors.
For coverage, heat the cream and add the white chocolate. Add a few drops of pink dye and mix until integrated.
Decorate the cake with the cover, causing a few drops to fall along the shore to make the "dripped cake" effect. Finish with cotton candy.

TIPS

Put very little color in your mixture so that the colors are faint, like cotton candy.
