This is a recipe for the rosquitas that children like the most because they are delicious and I give them as a complement to their lunch as a dessert.

Ingredients

35 portions
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 package Philadelphia® cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 cups powdered sugar

Preparation

Stir butter, cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla in a bowl with a medium speed blender to make a smooth, fluffy mixture.
Add the flour by carefully integrating it.
Make balls in the form of strips and fold them in half, turning them around to make the rosquitas.
Cover them with granulated sugar and put them on baking trays.
Bake them for 15 minutes until they turn golden.
Allow to cool on the tray and take them off carefully.

PRESENTATION

They are placed in cellophane bags with a bow, these rosettes can also be presented in small baskets as I show in my photograph, for parties and meetings.

TIPS

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes so that the cooking of the rosettes is uniform.
