Ingredients

24 portions
  • 2 cups meringue powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 100 milliliters Water
  • 3 little boats vegetal color additive
  • 350 grams flour
  • 60 grams powdered sugar
  • 150 grams unsalted butter
  • 2 egg yolks

Preparation

Place the flour and the 60 grams of sugar in the blender . Cut the unsalted butter into small cubes. Make sure the butter is very cold otherwise, your dough can be very soft and it will cost you more work to manipulate it.
Add the butter cubes little by little until all the butter is integrated and you have a sandy consistency. Add vanilla and egg yolks. If you wish, you can add a bit of lemon or orange zest. Once you have a smooth and homogeneous dough, mash it on a clean surface to finish integrating all the ingredients.
Cover the dough with plastic for vitafilar and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Take out the dough from the refrigerator and sprinkle some flour on a surface, spread the dough with a rolling pin and cut different shapes with cookie cutters. To make the baby faces use a round cutter, a stroller in the form of stroller and another in the form of a bottle. These cutters for biscuit can be found in specialized pastry shops.
Place the cookies on a baking tray with waxed paper or a silicone mat and bake at 180 ° C for 8 minutes. If your oven does not bake evenly, I recommend turning the tray inside the oven in the middle of cooking so that they all have the same brown.
Remove the cookies from the oven and leave them on a rack to cool completely.
For icing / royal icing; Sift the meringue powder, the glass and place a sugar bowl mixer . Beat using the shovel add the water little by little. You can add a little lemon or orange juice or an almond essence. Beat until you have a slightly thick mixture and divide it into 3 equal parts.
Add dye to each part of the glaze and if it got too thick, you can add a little more water. You want a liquid consistency but not too thin. To know if your glaze has the right consistency, draw an 8 with the glaze, if it takes to disappear you have the perfect consistency.
Pass the frostings to pastry sleeves with round duyas girls. Distribute the glaze over the cookies as you want to decorate them. Start always forming the outline of the cookie and fill the cookie. To keep the uniform glaze on the whole cookie, use a toothpick to distribute the glaze.
Decorate the cookies with colorful sparks. To make the baby's face use a down with vegetable paint. Let the decorated cookies dry for 12 hours before handling them to dry the glaze.

PRESENTATION
