To make churros you only need a little flour, egg and yeast, but if you want to give it a special twist, you have to follow this pastry recipe. This rich dessert in the lava cake or volcano style is made from a mixture of fried churro, with a soft dark chocolate ganache filling. Dare to try a new way to eat churros with chocolate.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3 cups of dark chocolate for the filling
  • 1/3 of Cup of Butter for the filling
  • 1/4 of Cup of whipping cream for the filling
  • 1 2/3 cups of Water for the churro mix
  • 1 pinch of Salt for the churro mix
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast (15 g) for the churro mixture
  • 2 1/4 cups of flour for the churro mix
  • 3 pieces of egg for the churro mix
  • enough of vegetable oil
  • enough of sugar to sprinkle
  • enough of cinnamon to sprinkle
  • enough of vanilla ice cream
  • to taste of cajeta - Mexican carmelized goat milk sweet

    Preparation

    For the filling, melt the chocolate, butter and whipping cream in the microwave, until a thick mixture is achieved. Freeze until you can form balls and reserve.
    In a pot, place the water and heat until it boils, dissolve the salt, place the flour with the blow yeast and mix until a thick dough is obtained. Reservation.
    Pour the eggs one by one to the previous preparation, until it becomes softer. Place in a sleeve and reserve.
    In a cupcake pan, pour the mixture with the duya. Fill with the ganache and freeze. Unmold and reserve.
    Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the preparation until cooked, remove.
    Cover the preparation with sugar and cinnamon, cut and enjoy with vanilla ice cream.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Accompany with vanilla ice cream.

    TIPS

    It is important to freeze very well before frying so that the shape does not change and is also easier to handle. You can use soft silicone molds to make it easier to unmold.
