Pumpkin in Tacha is a traditional Mexican recipe for the Day of the Dead, it's a sweet made from Castilla pumpkin accompanied by piloncillo and guava. It's a very delicious dessert, with a homemade flavor and easy to prepare, perfect for the autumn season.

Preparation
In a pressure cooker, place the piloncillo with the water (it's important that the water does not exceed half of the pressure cooker), the cloves, and the cinnamon. Bring to a boil.
Cut the pumpkin into 8 x 8 centimeter cubes.
Once the piloncillo is dissolved, add the pumpkin and cover the pot.
Cook for 30 minutes; uncover the pot (place it under running water to cool it down so you can open it) and add the guava cut into quarters. Cook for 15 more minutes, turn off.
Serve hot.
Presentation
Serve the sweet on a traditional plate.
Tips
You can add milk or cream to the dessert when serving.
