Glow in the Dark Gelatin

This gelatin is very easy to make and visually striking, as its most interesting feature is that it glows in the dark. This is due to the tonic water used, which contains a component called quinine that produces this effect. Additionally, the D’Gari® crystal gelatin in pineapple flavor is ideal to achieve this effect, though it can also be done with some other flavors of D’Gari® water gelatins.

Presentation

Unmold the gelatin onto your chosen base or platter, and it’s time for the magic to happen. It is important to use black lights to observe the fluorescence when the lights are turned off.

Tips

Pour the gelatin into the molds when it is completely clear and free of foam. Use LED black lights, as they are more powerful and will help the fluorescent effect to be seen with better quality.
