Ingredients

8 portions
  • 250 grams red fruit jam
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 240 grams flour
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 150 grams butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest

Preparation

First make the pasta, mixing the flour with sugar and add the butter in pieces and the lemon scrape. Mix well with a "pastry blender" (it is a manual utensil with wires that incorporates the ingredients very well)
Since we have the homogeneous mixture with the small pieces of butter, you put the egg and yolk, mix well. 2 balls are formed and left to rest for an hour in the refrigerator wrapped in plastic.
After this time, flatten a paste with the .5 cm thick roller and put in a cake mold. The other half I flatten and cut into long strips 1 cm wide.
Mix in a saucepan the jam and lemon juice, heat a little and warm. Once cool put on the pasta in the mold and cover with the strips of pasta to make a tissue interleaved
Put in preheated 350º F oven and let cook for 25 minutes more or less. A lightly browned.

PRESENTATION

Sprinkle with a little bit of icing sugar if desired.
