4 portions
  • 280 grams Flour for Gamesa® Hot Cakes
  • 3 teaspoons royal baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 120 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 90 grams butter, melted and cold
  • 250 milliliters milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

In a large bowl sift flour, baking powder (royal).
Add the vanilla extract, the pinch of salt and the sugar.
In another bowl, lightly beat eggs, then add milk and melted butter.
Drill a hole in the center of the dry ingredients and pour the liquid ingredients. Mix with the help of a hand mixer.
Divide the dough into two containers. To one of them add the two spoonfuls of cocoa powder, then well integrate the cocoa with the mixture.
Fill the molds a little more than half, 3/4 of the mold. Take a spoonful of the dough with cocoa alternating with a spoonful of the simple dough.
Put the muffins in the oven and let them cook for about 20 minutes. You can check the cooking by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean, the muffins are ready.
Let them cool around 5 minutes. Once cold you can decorate them with a little liquid chocolate on top.

You can accompany the two-colored muffins with a cup of hot chocolate or perhaps a scoop of Neapolitan ice cream. In tastes genres are broken!

When removing the muffins from the oven, you can sprinkle a bit of icing sugar, that will give them a very special touch. If you sieve more than 3 times the flour, the muffins will be softer. Do the test!!
