Ingredients

8 portions
  • 3/4 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups Corn syrup, Karo
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tablespoons Orange zest
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups walnut
  • 1 package pie crust dough
  • 1 cup whipped cream, To accompany

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
With a rolling pin, flatten the cake dough and place in a baking dish 18 cm. With a fork press the legs of the cake to have a decorative touch.
In a small saucepan melt the butter and add the brown sugar. Beat with a balloon whisk until it is well incorporated.
Remove from heat and add honey, vanilla, orange zest and salt.
Beat the eggs in a deep bowl and add to the sugar mixture.
Put the nut on the cake and pour the sugar mixture over them. Bake the cake for 50 minutes and remove from the oven.

PRESENTATION

Serve with cream to beat.

Queda deli. En lo personal hice la base desde cero. Lo único que me fallo fue no llenar mucho el molde porque sube y se tiró:( haciendo un cochinero en el horno!

Delicioso sabor, solo hace falta agregar que el pay se debe de meter cubierto al horno para que no se reseque!!! Y qué es mejor hacerlo con la cubierta desde cero!!
