  • 1 cup flour, for the crust
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, for the crust
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda, for the crust
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt, for the crust
  • 1/2 sticks butter, cold, for the crust
  • 1 egg, for the crust
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 eggs, large
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons Rum
  • 2 cups walnut, in halves
  • 1 cup Corn syrup


For the crust: in the food processor combine the flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, baking powder.Pulse 3 times
Cut the half stick of butter in 5, add to the food processor mix and process until there are no large pieces of butter left, about 15 seconds.
Add an egg and press as many as 10 times until the crust forms into a ball.
Form a ball with your hands, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate for one hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. (356°F)
For the filling: combine the honey and sugar in a saucepan and simmer over low heat without stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add butter and let melt.
In a bowl stir eggs, rum and salt. Add the butter mixture with honey, being careful not to stir too much. Let it cool.
For the crust, remove from the refrigerator and knead with roller to have a circle of 30 cm (12 inches) in diameter. Place it in the bottom of a small greased pie pan previously greased. Pressing a little with your fingers.
Trim the excess from the edges. Arrange the pecans in the crust, pour the filling into the pie pan and over the pecans.
With a fork push the nuts down so they are covered. Bake for 35 minutes until the filling is firm. Serve cold or warm.


The butter must be very cold.

La teceta de la pasta o concha estan las cantidades de los ingredientes diferentes a los del video como saber lo correcto para no hechar a perder mi invercion pueden confirmar lo correcto por favor la calificación es significativa pues espero respuesta para hacerlo gracias
