Thinking about childhood obesity, I propose the option of this delicious carrot jelly taking care of the nutrition of our family.

10 portions
  • 2 boxes light orange jelly
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can condensed milk, 50% less sugar
  • 1 can half and half cream
  • 3/4 kilos carrot, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 pineapples, natural in pieces
  • 1/3 cups Water
  • 2 cups Water, by egg
  • 2 cups Water

The carrots are washed, peeled and grated.
Half of a pineapple is washed, cut and minced into pieces.
In addition, the condensed milk is liquefied with the half cream.
In the 1/3 of water at the time the unflavored gelatin is dissolved and liquefied with milk and cream.
In the hot water, the whole orange gelatin dissolves and it moves. Once dissolved, 2 cups of water are added to the time, let it cool for a long time and then add it to the liquefied liquid.
In the mold or molds in which you are going to present the gelatin, put grated carrot and pineapple in squares. Then add the gelatin mixture with the milk and cream, incorporate well.
Put in the refrigerator for about two hours or until it sets firmly. Unmold if you like very carefully.

If you want instead of natural pineapple you can use pineapple in syrup but this would make it sweeter. Another option is to use normal gelatin which also increases the levels of sugar consumption.
