This crepes recipe has an apple filling with maple syrup and spectacular cinnamon. The secret of the mass of the crepas is that they carry Gamesa® Hot Cakes Flour giving them a special flavor.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3/4 of Cup of Flour for Gamesa® Hot Cakes Prepared according to package instructions
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 2 spoonfuls of oil
  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 3 spoonfuls of Butter for apples
  • 6 cups of green apple in thin slices
  • 1/4 of Cup of Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • powder sugar to decorate

    Preparation

    In a blender put the prepared mixture of hot cakes, eggs, milk, and oil. Mix at medium speed until you have a smooth mixture. Let stand 5 minutes and mix again for 5-10 seconds.
    Melt a little butter on a nonstick skillet over medium heat. When the butter begins to brown a little, lower the heat to medium-low and put 2 tablespoons of the prepared mixture. Move the pan with your hand to cover everything.
    Cook for 30 seconds or until the top begins to dry. Turn the crepe over and cook for another 30 seconds. Repeat this step with the whole crepe mix. Note: if the mixture becomes very thick, stir again in the blender.
    Prepare the apple filling. Melt the 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat and add the apples in slices. Cook the apples stirring until soft, about 6 minutes. Add maple syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook another 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce a little.
    Put a little of the apple filling over the center of each crepe and fold. Fold the edges again, turn over and sprinkle with icing sugar to serve.

    PRESENTATION

    You can serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

    TIPS

    If the crepes break when you turn them over, wait until they are brown before turning them over.
