If you like the atole for this season when the cold starts, I recommend this delicious guava atole with cinnamon, star anise, sweetened with brown sugar; very traditional. In addition, guava is a source of vitamin C, which will help you have many defenses in this cold weather. Try it and share it with who else you want.

Ingredients

5 servings
  • 4 cups of Water
  • 1 kilo of guava
  • 1 raja of cinnamon
  • 1 piece of star anise
  • 1 piece of piloncillo 200 g, cut into pieces
  • 6 spoonfuls of cornstarch dissolved with a little milk
  • 4 cups of milk

    Preparation

Heat the water in a pot, add the guavas, cinnamon, star anise and brown sugar. Cook until the guava is soft and the spices release the aroma. Remove from heat let cool and reserve.
Blend the previous preparation in the T-fal® InfinyForce blender with the “smoothie” function, strain.
Return the preparation to the pot, add the corn starch dissolved in the milk and cook 20 minutes over medium heat from the boil, stirring occasionally.

    PRESENTATION

Serve the atole in a jar, decorate it with a cinnamon stick and a little piloncillo to finish.

    TIPS

It is important that you dissolve the starch in cold liquid so that it thickens well at the time of cooking.
