The oniguiris are a simple dish of Japanese cuisine, which consists of a rice ball with different fillings and decorated with a little seaweed. They have a triangular shape that characterizes them. They are simple and delicious; try them.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups Water
  • 4 leaves nori seaweed
  • 2 cans tuna
  • to taste mayonnaise

Preparation

Cook the rice with two and a half cups of water; until it is consumed and the rice is soft and whole. Let stand for 10 minutes without flame and well covered. After 10 minutes uncover and let warm.
Mix the tuna with the mayonnaise.
Wet your hands with water, so that the rice does not stick. Take a medium ball of rice and form a small hole to put some tuna.
Close the ball and shape it into a triangle with your hands squeezing a bit without disrupting the rice.
Cut the nori seaweed into small rectangles and stick them on the bottom of the oniguiri with a little water.
