Brie cheese in a plum sauce is a recipe that can be presented as a rich entree or as a delicious dessert. A very simple preparation to make and with such a rich flavor, which is perfect for a meeting with your friends.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1/2 boats Sweet and Sour Plum Sauce Mixed Cuisine®
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, bare
  • 1 bouquet fresh thyme
  • 1 Brie cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 baguette, cut in thin slices and toast

Preparation

In a pot heat the oil and squeeze the garlic. Before it begins to brown add half a jar of any Mixed Salty Mixed Cuisine and thyme. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and let it boil for 1 minute. Turn off and let cool a little.
To serve: place the brie cheese on a serving plate and bathe with the sauce. Decorate with a sprig of thyme and serve with crackers or slices of toasted baguette.

PRESENTATION

Serve the cheese in a clay dish.

TIPS

Remove the brie cheese from the refrigerator half an hour before you use it.
