This recipe was made by my grandfather at home for all his grandchildren. It was the most fun because it allowed us to prepare this dish very easy and very rich. Beautiful memories!

Ingredients

4 portions
  • corn tortillas, or flour
  • slices Ham, calculate 1 or 2 per tortilla
  • slices yellow cheese, calculate 1 or 2 per tortilla
  • slices tomtato, 2 per omelet

Preparation

Heat the tortillas in a comal.
In a frying pan or in the same pan, the tortillas are placed in a low flame and all the ingredients are added one by one. I start with the ham, then the yellow cheese and finally the tomato. They are heated until the cheese melts.
You can cover the first one with another tortilla, or fold it in half. The first is known as synchronized, the second option as a quesadilla.

PRESENTATION

Present the quesadillas or synchronized in quarters, half moons or triangles. Accompany with red or green sauce.

TIPS

If you wish you can add any type of additional cheese and tantita cream. Or some other stuffing like mushrooms and peppers. Use if you prefer flour tortillas.
