This diablad shrimp recipe is very simple and easy to make. They are shrimp with a spicy sauce based on chipotle and catsup.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 kilo shrimp
  • to taste ketchup
  • to taste chipotle chili
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Preparation

Shrimp are cleaned by removing the husk and the vein.
Fry the shrimp in the butter with a little oil so that the butter does not burn until they are pink and a little brown.
Catsup sauce and chipotle chili are added to taste, they are cooked a little.
They are peppered, not much because the ketchup is salty.
Cook about 5 minutes over low heat so that they do not stick.
Optional: Add a little more butter to give it more flavor.

TIPS

I accompany them with white rice and a green salad and crackers or toast, but you can still make fried quesadillas and stuff them with shrimp.
