This is a simple way to prepare a rich fish stew, bathed in a creamy sauce made from pepper and gratin with cheese. It is a recipe that you can share with everyone at home. Accompany it with some white rice, mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 kilo fish fillet
  • 1 1/2 cups cream
  • 1 can bell pepper
  • 6 slices american cheese, band-aids
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Wash the fish and place it in the pan greased with butter.
Blend cream, drained bell pepper, salt and pepper.
With this sauce, bathe the fish, top it with strips of yellow cheese.
If there is fish left over, make a second layer as well as finish in sauce and yellow cheese.
Cover with the aluminum foil and bake for 30 min at 180 degrees Celsius.

TIPS

It can also be done on the stove with a skillet with a good lid and a medium low heat. You can change the bell pepper for chipotle or poblano pepper.
