A rich Greek fish to share this season. It is prepared with garlic, basil, tomato, white wine, butter, lemon juice and lime. Giving this dish citrus notes and a lot of flavor. It is a new way of cooking fish at home.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, chopped into small cubes
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 150 grams butter
  • 150 grams basil, fresh, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 cup white wine, preferably

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Place half of the butter and half of the garlic in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Once the butter has melted, add the tomatoes, basil, lemon juice and half a glass of wine.
Avoiding boiling the mixture, lower the temperature to keep it warm.
Melt the remaining butter and place it in a saucepan, also adding the remaining garlic and wine.
Bake the fish for 5 minutes. Flip and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the meat flakes easily with a fork.
Pour the tomato mixture over the fish when serving. Drizzle with the butter and garlic sauce left in the pan.
Place a few drops of lime on our fish.

PRESENTATION

Add a little parsley and / or pepper to decorate our dish.

TIPS

The wine can be white preferably but using a red will also give a special flavor.
