Empanadas Fáciles de Camarón

If you love to eat seafood in all its presentations, we tell you how to make Easy Empanadas de Camarón, a Lenten recipe or ideal for a weekend craving.

For the recipe of empanadas to be a success, you must take into account that the dough has to rest enough and so, when it is extended, it will not contract.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3 cups of flour for the mass
  • 2 spoonfuls of sugar for the mass
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Salt for the mass
  • 1/4 of Cup of vegetable oil for the mass
  • 1 Cup of Water for the mass
  • 2 cups of shrimp precooked
  • 1 Cup of tomato cut into cubes
  • 1/2 Cup of onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 of Cup of coriander finely chopped
  • enough of salt and pepper
  • enough of vegetable oil to fry
  • enough of Mayonnaise at your service
  • enough of ketchup at your service
  • enough of sauce spicy, to serve
  • enough of avocado in slices, to serve
  • enough of green lemon at your service

    Preparation

    In a bowl mix flour with sugar, salt, oil, water and knead until a homogeneous mass.
    Place the dough in a bowl and let stand for 20 minutes.
    For the filling, mix the shrimp with the tomato, onion and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
    On a floured surface form balls of dough, spread each to a thickness of 2 mm, place the filling and with the help of your fingers, close forming a braid.
    In a small pot over medium heat heat the oil and fry the empanadas until golden brown. Drain them on absorbent paper.
    Open the empanadas with the help of a knife, taking care not to break them. Serve with mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, avocado and lemon. Enjoy

    Open the empanadas and serve with avocado, mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce and lemon.

    TIPS

    It is important that you let rest the mass of empanadas, so that at the moment of extending it, it does not contract.
