Tuna Calzone with Peppers

Prepare the delicious calzone with a quick and easy dough, stuffed with soft mozzarella cheese and a tuna preparation with peppers and tomato sauce, olives and spinach. This hot calzone with tuna, submerged in tomato sauce is ideal if you want something different to eat.

Ingredients

  • 4 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 2 spoonfuls of Garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 piece of onion filleted
  • 2 cups of Bell pepper of colors, cut in julienne
  • 2 cups of spinach cut in julienne
  • 1 Cup of cherry tomato Cut in half
  • 1/4 of Cup of black olive cut into slices
  • 2 pieces of Dolores® Tuna Solid Loin Yellow Fin in Water
  • 1 Cup of tomato puree
  • 1/4 of Cup of Water for the yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1/2 kilo of wheat flour
  • 5 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 2 spoonfuls of Salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano
  • 1/4 of Cup of Water
  • 1 Cup of mozzarella cheese grated

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    Heat a skillet over medium heat with the oil, cook the garlic, onion, peppers, spinach, cherry tomato, olives and Dolores® Tuna Loin Solid Yellow Fin in Water with the tomato puree, around 10 minutes to integrate all the flavors. Chill
    In a bowl, hydrate the yeast with water, let it rest. Mix the wheat flour with the yeast, the olive oil, the salt, the sugar, the oregano and add the water little by little, only use the necessary quantity. Form a dough, rest 10 min and reserve.
    On a table spread the dough to form a circle ½ cm thick, filled with tuna preparation, add mozzarella cheese, close the calzone.
    Place the calzone on a tray, bake for 20 minutes or until cooked and with a golden color. Serve and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the calzone on a board and serve with tomato sauce.

    TIPS

    You can also stretch the dough with a rolling pin, cut with a knife and close as if it were pie.
