Tuna Empanadas with Cheese

If you like empanadas, these will become your favorites, with a delicious and easy to prepare filling, for which you only have to mix. Ingredients

6 portions
  • 3 cups flour, for the mass
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, for the mass
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt, for the mass
  • 1/4 cups vegetal oil, for the mass
  • 1 cup Water, for the mass
  • 3 envelopes Tuna with Mayonnaise Herdez®, for the filling (85 gc / u)
  • 1/2 cups manchego cheese, diced
  • 1/4 cups whole kernel corn, yellow
  • 1/4 cups white onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups tomtato, diced
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • enough flour
  • enough vegetal oil, to fry
  • enough avocado
  • to taste spicy sauce

Preparation

For the dough, pour the flour into a bowl and, with a smaller bowl, mark a hole in the middle of it using a little pressure; in the middle add the sugar, the vegetable oil and the water; with the help of a spoon, mix until integrated. Place the dough on a clean surface and start kneading until smooth and smooth. Let stand 30 minutes.
For the filling, mix the Tuna with Herdez® Mayonnaise, the cheese, the corn, the onion, the tomato and the parsley. Reservation.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of approximately 5 mm. Cut circles 12 cm in diameter.
Place the filling on the dough and with the help of your hands, join and twist the edges so that they are braided and close the empanadas.
In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the empanadas until they turn golden brown. Place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
With the help of a knife, open the empanada, place avocado slices and serve with hot sauce.

TIPS

The ideal frying temperature is 180 ° to 200 ° C; remember that if the oil is not hot enough, the dough will absorb more fat.
