Vegetarian Hamburger with "Pan" of Cauliflower

Burgers are always a delicious preparation, if you want a hamburger, but want to avoid more carbohydrates, make this delicious burger with an incredible "bread" of cauliflower made with cheese and chives. In addition, the portobello hamburger will be your fascination.

  • 2 cups Cauliflower Eva® Bits, for bread
  • 3/4 cups manchego cheese, for bread
  • 1 egg yolk, for bread
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch, for bread
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper, for bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for bread
  • 6 portobello mushrooms, for hamburger
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup red onion, filleted
  • 1 güero chili, cut into strips, for onions
  • 4 tablespoons sugar, for onions
  • 1/2 cups Red wine, for onions
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • to taste mayonnaise, To accompany
  • to taste mustard, To accompany
  • to taste tomtato, cut into slices, to accompany
  • to taste Bell pepper, cut into slices, to accompany
  • to taste lettuce, To accompany


Place the cauliflower Eva® bits in a bowl and dehydrate in the microwave for 5 minutes. Dry the excess water with an absorbent paper towel.
Mix in a bowl the cauliflower, the yolk, the cheese, the starch season with salt and pepper chives.
Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat and with the help of a ring place the previous mixture to form the bread, cook 3 minutes on each side. It cools completely and reserves.
For the portobello fungus, heat a grill over high heat, when it is very hot, place the portobello mushrooms, bathe with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and cook until soft.
For the caramelized onions, heat a skillet over medium heat with the butter, add the purple onion, the güero pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Add the refined sugar and red wine, cook until the liquid is reduced and caramelize season to your liking. Remove from heat and reserve.
To make the hamburger spread a base of cauliflower with mayonnaise, another with mustard, place the portobello, the caramelized onions and all the ingredients to accompany. Serve with sweet potato or beet chips and enjoy.


Serve on a table and accompany with beet or sweet potato chips.


Dehydrate the cauliflower in the microwave to release moisture and not affect the bread.
