In a bowl, mix the corn dough, chicken broth, salt, baking powder, and vegetable oil until you obtain a homogeneous dough. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth so the dough doesn't dry out. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the onion and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes. Then, add the potatoes, mash them, and season with salt. Set aside.
