Prepare for your family this delicious and complete recipe full of flavor: some nopales stuffed with steak with panela cheese, accompanied in a salsita seasoned with guajillo chile with morita that give it an exquisite flavor. A balance of flavor with high fiber content.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 6 pieces of guajillo chili pepper for red sauce (clean and deveined)
  • 1 piece of morita chile pepper for the red sauce (clean and deveined)
  • 2 cloves of garlic for the red sauce
  • 1/4 of piece of onion for the red sauce
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of oregano for the red sauce
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of cumin for the red sauce
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of cinnamon for the red sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of Pure Nutrioli® Soy Edible Oil for the red sauce
  • 4 cups of Water
  • 6 pieces of nopal
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • to taste of onion powder
  • 6 pieces of beef steak
  • 1 tablespoon of Pure Nutrioli® Soy Edible Oil
  • 250 grams of Panela cheese cut into medium thick rectangles

    Preparation

    In a comal roast the chiles with garlic and onion. Once roasted, soak the chiles in hot water for 10 minutes.
    Blend the chilies, garlic, onion, oregano, cumin and cinnamon until you get a sauce.
    Heat the Nutrioli® Pure Edible Soy Oil in a pot over medium heat and pour the sauce, season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes or until thick.
    In a pot, cook the nopales in boiling water with baking soda and salt. Drain and reserve.
    Season the steaks with salt, pepper and onion powder and cook in a pan over medium heat with Nutrioli® Pure Edible Soybean Oil. Cut into thin strips.
    On a board, place the nopales, add strips of meat and panela cheese. Roll and hold with a toothpick.
    Place a little sauce on a plate and place the nopales on top, serve hot.

    PRESENTATION

    On an extended plate, accompanied by tortillas and a refreshing drink.

    TIPS

    Sodium bicarbonate helps reduce prickly pear, and helps to highlight green.
