This stew is one of the stars of Mexican cuisine. Its rich flavor accompanies rich chicken meat or pork with potatoes. Enjoy this dish on any occasion.

Ingredients

5 servings
  • 6 pieces of potato
  • 2 pieces of ancho chili pepper
  • 1 piece of morita chile pepper
  • 20 grams of sesame seed
  • 1 piece of garlic
  • 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of ground clove
  • 5 pieces of chicken
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • enough of Water
  • to taste of Salt
  • to taste of chicken bouillon

    Preparation

    Cook the chicken with the onion and salt to taste.
    Cook the potatoes in water.
    Place the deveined broad chili and the whole morita in hot water; to soften them.
    Toast the sesame in a pan.
    Grind the sesame seeds with chilies, garlic, cinnamon, cloves and water.
    In a pan fry with little oil and without straining, the chili already ground, the consommé. Rectify seasoning.
    Peel, cut the potatoes into medium squares and add them to the chili.
    Finally add the chicken, mix well and cook for 15 minutes more. It serves.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve hot sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.

    TIPS

    You can substitute the chicken for pork.
