Rice pancakes with cheese

Easily make rice pancakes without having to cook it previously. You can enjoy them with caldillo or accompanied by a salad and sauce to taste. A delight that you can not miss.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of rice
  • 1/4 of kilo of old cheese grated
  • 8 pieces of egg
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • enough of oil to fry
  • 5 pieces of tomato for the caldillo
  • 1 Cube of chicken bouillon powder for the caldillo
  • 1/4 of piece of onion in pieces
  • 2 cups of Water tibia
  • to taste of Salt

    Preparation

    Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the raw rice without wetting and constantly stir until browned completely.
    Pour the golden rice in a completely dry blender and grind to powder.
    Place egg whites in a bowl with no yolks and whisk to nougat; Once ready add the yolks and mix adding a pinch of salt.
    Add the grated cheese and rice powder to the egg by measuring the consistency of the mixture; taking care that you do not get thick or make a paste.
    In a pan over medium heat heat the oil to fry, once ready fry the pancakes by placing them in the pan of a medium size.
    Chips on both sides place them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat and cover them.
    For the caldillo: In the blender place the tomato and onion with a splash of water. Grind until you get a sauce.
    In a saucepan heat a splash of oil, once ready add the tomato sauce and the cube of the chicken consommé and season a few minutes until the tomato loses its acidity.
    Add cups of warm water and let it boil, rectify seasoning. Cover, turn off and let stand.
    Place the pancakes to eat in the caldillo light your pan over medium heat and let boil 2 minutes to soften, serve the dish and decorate with 2 sprigs of coriander.

    PRESENTATION

    Place your pancakes in a deep dish if you serve with caldillo; in extended if you serve with the salad and accompany them with sauce.

    TIPS

    You can make a green or red sauce to taste if you opt for the salad as garnish to accompany your dish or a dressing of your choice. If you passed on rice powder or cheese and a paste is formed, do not worry; just whisk separately 2 or 3 eggs to nougat and add them to the mixture.
