The chicken salad is a very rich and easy recipe to make. This recipe has some touches of celery and mandarin that make it spectacular.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 3 branches celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cups almond
  • 1 cup tangerine, in segments
  • 8 pita breads
  • 8 leaves lettuce

Preparation

Boil two cups of water with the onion, salt, and carrots. Add the chicken, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the chicken is well cooked.
Remove the chicken from the pot, put it in a bowl and allow it to cool. Cut into thick cubes. Throw the vegetables that were left in the pot.
In a deep bowl mix mayonnaise, lemon juice and mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the chicken, the chopped celery and the almonds to the vinaigrette. Add the mandarin segments, taking care not to crush or crush when mixed.
Cut an opening in pita bread and heat for 1 minute in a small oven.
Fill each pan 1/2 cup of the chicken salad and 1 lettuce leaf, serve.

PRESENTATION

Decorate the plate with cherry tomatoes and lettuce.
