This recipe is truly delicious and easy to make. The prosciutto ham and the pecorino cheese give it a very rich and gourmet flavor. You can find the ingredients in a supermarket or a gourmet store.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 500 grams spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon whole cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon whole black pepper
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups pecorino romano cheese, grated
  • 150 grams leg ham, chopped
  • 1/4 cups basil
  • 1/4 cups fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sea ​​salt

Preparation

Boil 10 cups of water in a large pot with 2 tablespoons of sea salt.
Once it has boiled, cook the pasta according to the directions of the package (about 8 minutes) until the pasta is cooked but firm, "al dente".
While the pasta is cooked, heat a small pot over medium heat and brown the black and red pepper for 30 seconds. Add the olive oil and cook for 1 minute. Remove the pot from the fire.
Strain the pasta and mix with the Pecorino cheese in a deep bowl, mix carefully so as not to break it.
Add the oil with pepper, ham, basil and parsley (save a little to decorate the dish). And mix.

PRESENTATION

Serve the pasta in small portions in individual dishes making a basket with the fork as in the photograph of the dish. Accompany a roll of ham and decorate with herbs.

TIPS

If they can not find Pecorino cheese, they can use Parmesan cheese instead.
